Madurai YMCA manages all its projects with the support of donor agencies, munificent friends and has initiated an International Guest House and Service Centre in the year 1996 and a Working Women's Hostel in the year 2003.

OUR VISION - INTERNATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CENTRE AND GUEST HOUSE

Madurai, the temple city located at the heart of the State of Tamil Nadu, is a pilgrimage and a popular tourist centre. Many enterprising schemes and projects are under taken by the Madurai YMCA in an attempt to fulfill the ever increasing need to serve the neglected children and the youth of our society. Our vision is to build a multifaceted YMCA International Guest House on YMCA's land in the down town area to continue and expand our services to the community. The Guest house will be easily accessible and connected by road, rail and air. It will be located most ideally within walking distance from the Railway Station, Central Bus Station and about 20 minutes drive from the airport. By implementing this project it is expected that the Madurai YMCA will be in a position to sustain its intervention among the hearing impaired, mentally challenged, orphaned boys, rural children through the increased regular income from the establishment of this International Youth Service Centre and Guest House with adequate facilities at an affordable cost.

This visionary task requires adequate financial support to transform it into a reality. Hence the Madurai YMCA appeals to you, to generously contribute your mite and share with us, the social commitment. It is certain that your magnanimous gesture will be a boon and a blessing to the children and youth of our generation.

The centre will offer three star facilities at a single star rate

The Project will Incorporate:

  1. Accommodation to 100 guests
  2. Conference hall for 200 people
  3. Restaurant
  4. Training facilities
  5. Health club
  6. Administrative Office
  7. Adequate car parking facilities
